Thota’s Revera clinic was started in August 2005 by Dr.Radha Thota and Dr.Venkat Thota. It was the first of its kind to provide exclusive medical cosmetic services through plastic surgery and cosmetology in Hyderabad.

Vision:

Dr. Venkateswarlu Thota

Dr. Venkateswarlu Thota, who is basically from Chintriala, Khammam Dist, Telangana was born in a family with agriculture as their main occupation, had the zeal to do reach greater heights in life and to become a successful Doctor one day, and toiled to achieve the same.

He focuses on giving the best possible treatment to every one of his patients. His patients always give him a positive review full of praise for his honesty, precision and compassion. He patiently answers all their queries and even addresses their misconceptions. If anyone doesn’t need any procedure or if it not suitable for them, he gives them a straight forward NO. He puts the patient health and outcome above everything. He respects the doctor – patient relationship and strictly adheres to the code of medical ethics:

He being a Gold Medalist in MS General Surgery, opted for Mch in Plastic surgery, further, he completed his Fellowship in Micro Vascular Surgery from Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences. Also, he is an active member of Indian Medical Association & Association of Plastic Surgeons of India and the Secretary of Telangana State Plastic Surgeon’s Association.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the industry and has been fulfilling all his responsibilities very dedicatedly, his experience summary is as follows-

His responsibilities included taking care of lower limb trauma, hand surgery (tendon repair, nerve repair). Microvascular surgery like free flaps, replantation of fingers and toes. Cosmetic surgeries: rhinoplasty, body sculpturing, orthognathic surgeries like mandibular/maxillary setbacks/advancements. He solved a good number of hypertelorbitism, trigonocephaly cases in NIMS, Hyderabad.

Dr. Venkat attended many professional meets at national and international level. Some of them include:

Being a person with a good heart, he conducted free plastic surgery in the districts of costal Andhra and Telangana in Government hospitals with the help of the district authorities during 2003 to 2005.

He handled several critical cases which were published in the media too, some of them are as under –

1. A woman lost her scalp as it got struck in a rotating wheel – Dr.Venkat Performed microvascular surgery to reattach it.
2. In an Industrial Accident a Crowbar fell from a height and passed through a person’s head, Dr.Venkat along with his team saved the patient and removed the same
3. Venkat reattached the severed fingers of a patient which got cut by a butcher’s knife during assault.

Apart from this he gave many interviews in leading news channels like TV9, TV5, Sakshi TV, Vanita TV. He published many articles on plastic surgery and conducted many Q and A sessions in popular newspapers like Eenadu, Vaartha, Saakshi and many others. Also, he participated in live Radio sessions in AIR.

Last but not the least, Dr.Venkat’s life story was featured in the book “Life Savers” by prominent TV personality Madhavi Siddham.

Dr. Radha Thota

Dr. Radha Thota, Director & Medical Cosmetologist at Rever’a Cosmetic Surgery and LASER centre Himayatnagar, Hyderabad specialises in Micro Dermabrasion, Chemical Peels, Skin Smoothening and Hair fall medical treatment. She is an active member of The Indian Medical Association (IMA).

She counsels every patient who walks through the door and advises them on their cosmetic goals which people are often unclear about.

She answers all their questions and addresses their misconceptions. She is meticulous, the most updated and provides precise information regarding the advantages of the procedure and any risks associated with it.

Many of her patients from the day she started her medical practice in 1989 still visit her clinic to seek her advice, this only shows the amount of trust they have in her as a doctor. They respect her for her conduct and integrity in following the medical ethics.

She has a great track record of achieving the best results in cosmetology and her work stands as a testimony. She is a visionary entrepreneur with an aim to provide services in training, research and delivery of medical services at a global level and also to venture into other industrial sectors.  She has a great business acumen and takes the business ethics to the heart.

She completed her MBBS from Guntur Medical college in 1988 after which she opted for a PG Diploma In Medical Cosmetology from Annamalai University. At present, she is pursuing MBA from Sikkim Manipal University due to her keen interest and acumen in business.

Recoup HospitalRamnagar, HyderabadManaging Director and Consultant Physician with mainly Gynaec and Obstetric practice.1996 – 2007She managed a 20 bedded multi speciality nursing home with specialities of General Medicine, Plastic surgery, Orthopedic surgery, OBG, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, ENT, Dermatology . This hospital catered to the people in the area of Musheerabad, Hyderabad and earned her a great reputation as doctor.

Sri Venkateswara Nursing HomeMachilipatnam, Krishna Dist, APCo-Director and Consultant Physician with mainly Gynaec and Obstetric practice1992-1995During this tenure from 1988 to 1995 she catered to the Rural populace in her home town and district of Krishna and did tremendous service along with her husband Dr.Venkat by extending their medical skills to the poor and needy patients.

4. Nursing Home – AvanigaddaAvanigadda, Krishna Dist, APCo-Director and Consultant Physician with mainly Gynaec and Obstetric practice1988-1991

Being a lady with a will to help the needy, from 1988 to 1995 she catered to the rural populace in her home town and district of Krishna and did tremendous service along with her husband Dr.Venkat by extending their medical skills –to the poor and needy patients.

Also, she organised free plastic surgery camps through her “Recoup Foundation” in the districts of costal Andhra and Telangana in Government hospitals, there with the help of the district authorities during 2003 to 2005 Dr.Venkat performed many critical procedures such as Cleft anomaly corrections for Children.

Venkat Akhilesh Thota, General Practitioner at Rever’a Cosmetic Surgery & LASER Centre, is an MS General Surgeon who aspires to become a plastic surgeon. Being an advocate of Evidence Based Medicine, he believes in giving a realistic hope and a positive attitude to his patients.

His objectives in life are very clear-

1. He wants to provide the best of service in Cosmetic surgery to as many clients as possible.
2. To contribute to Cosmetic Surgery by conducting clinical research
3. To Pass on his experience and knowledge and train more doctors in an institutional setting

Prasad, Support Staff

He has been with us since almost 15 years and caters to every need of the clinic and the patient right from procuring the items required in the clinic to attending to the needs of patients. Also, he arranges transport and food for them of their choice.

We have two Class 4 employees, who are well trained in conduct and etiquette and maintain our premises prick clean and hygienic.
